Nate Pommer is a Brooklyn-based director whose work spans multiple genres. He graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a concentration in experimental and avant-garde film. In addition to establishing himself as an freelance editor for clients such as HBO, MTV, and Sundance Channel, he directed videos for Gogol Bordello, James Kochalka Superstar, and Galactic. In 2009, he began a partnership with Estudio C3 to shoot and direct documentaries in Cuba, Bolivia, Perú, Dominican Republic, and Senegal. In 2013 he produced a short film "Une Danse Des Bouffons", directed by contemporary artist Marcel Dzama, featured at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. In 2014 he produced and directed as series of live concert films for the Trey Anastasio Band and is currently filming a feature-length experimental documentary with Gogol Bordello.
